  • Weight Doctors® RESHAPE is the programme for the time after weight loss: lifts, body lift, liposuction, lipoedema surgery and skin tightening with Renuvion – by specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery.
  • The procedures shape the body contour and remove excess skin or fatty tissue; they are not intended for further weight loss.
  • A prerequisite is a stable weight – 6–12 months without major fluctuations are recommended before tightening.
  • Costs start at €1,950. With a medical indication in line with the guidelines, there is a chance of cost coverage by German health insurance; we take care of the application and all the documents completely.
  • From the first consultation through to aftercare, you are accompanied by your 360 coach, the Weight Doctors® ShapeWear and the Weight Doctors® 3D Bodyscan.

Who is Weight Doctors® RESHAPE suitable for?

  • You have lost a significant amount of weight, and your weight is stable.
  • After the weight loss, excess skin has remained that does not recede on its own – for example on the abdomen, upper arms or thighs. If several areas are affected, a body lift may be an option.
  • Stubborn fat deposits have remained despite diet and exercise: for targeted liposuction, all round the trunk as 360-degree liposuction.
  • A lipoedema has remained despite weight loss or has become more clearly visible afterwards.
  • You are looking for an alternative to conventional surgery for skin tightening.
  • Whether and which treatment is suitable for you is clarified in the personal consultation.

  • By car

    Leave the B 1 at the Dortmund-Hombruch exit and turn right onto Wittekindstraße. After 700 m, turn right onto Rosemeyerstraße and you will find us after 100 m on the left-hand side, to the right of the Rodizio steakhouse. Drive onto the building’s parking deck and park directly in front of the entrance.

  • By train & public transport

    From the main station, take the U45 to Stadtgarten and then the U42 to Theodor-Fliedner-Heim. Follow Wittekindstraße to the next cross street and turn right onto Rosemeyerstraße – we are on the left-hand side.

  • From Dortmund Airport

    From Dortmund Airport, take the B 1 (Ruhrschnellweg) towards Dortmund. After about 12 km, leave the B 1 at the Dortmund-Hombruch exit, turn right onto Wittekindstraße and after 700 m turn right onto Rosemeyerstraße – you will find us after 100 m on the left-hand side.

What is Weight Doctors® RESHAPE?

Weight Doctors® RESHAPE is a treatment programme for people who have excess skin or stubborn fat deposits after successful weight loss. It includes lifts, body lift, liposuction, lipoedema surgery and non-surgical skin tightening, and combines the procedures with consultation, support and aftercare.

Who is RESHAPE suitable for?

For patients who have reached their target weight and now also want to round off their journey physically – whether after stomach surgery, the Weight Doctors SLEEVE®, a gastric balloon or GLP-⁠1 therapy. Prerequisites are a stable weight and good general health.

How long should I wait after weight loss before having a lift?

6–12 months with a stable weight are recommended. During this time the tissue adapts, and the specialist can assess exactly which method makes sense in the long term.

Does RESHAPE help with weight loss?

No. The procedures remove excess skin or individual fat deposits and shape the contour. There are separate paths for weight loss, such as stomach reduction or GLP-⁠1 pharmacotherapy.

Won’t the skin tighten on its own with exercise?

Unfortunately, usually not sufficiently. After major weight loss, the skin has often lost so much elasticity that it no longer recedes enough even with training. Exercise remains important for health and muscles, but it hardly helps against pronounced excess skin.

Skin tightening with or without surgery – what is the difference?

Skin tightening with Renuvion tightens the skin with cold plasma without large incisions and is suitable for mild to moderate laxity. With pronounced excess skin, surgical tightening removes the excess skin and is then the more reliable solution. Which path suits you is clarified by the examination.
